FOUNDER & CEO, AED-IS
Andrew E. Schwartz
Where Business Experience Meets Technology.
Andrew E. Schwartz has spent his career at the intersection of business, technology, management and education.
His approach is straightforward: understand what a business actually needs first, then translate those needs into practical technology solutions that people can understand, use and build upon.

BUSINESS FIRST. TECHNOLOGY WITH PURPOSE.
Turning Business Needs Into
Practical Solutions.
Andrew’s career has crossed business management, technology, education, consulting and entrepreneurship. That breadth of experience has shaped a practical philosophy that continues to influence AED-IS today.
Technology should not be introduced simply because it is new. It should solve a problem, improve the way people work, create an opportunity or help a business perform better.
Rather than approaching technology purely from a technical perspective, Andrew focuses first on the organization — its people, processes, objectives and challenges — and then works with the appropriate specialists to turn those requirements into practical solutions.

Andrew gave his first paid presentation shortly after finishing high school. What began with a telephone pitch to a Cornell University group led to participant recommendations, referrals and the beginning of a much longer professional journey.
At age 24, Andrew was a senior trainer with the Management Training Program. At 26, he became Manager of Training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Andrew founded A.E. Schwartz & Associates, beginning what would become decades of management training, leadership development, consulting and content creation.
A paid monthly column for Training News & Data helped lead to articles, university extension courses, audio programs, books, software, workbooks, assessments and other learning resources.
Andrew continues to apply decades of business, management and entrepreneurial experience while developing new ideas and working with the people and partners responsible for moving his businesses forward.

BUILDING IDEAS INTO BUSINESSES
An Entrepreneurial Mindset
Built Around Constant Improvement.
As the principal and founder of his organizations, Andrew says:
“I have simply followed my passion, and the rest has evolved.”
His thirst for constant improvement and knowledge is the backbone of his approach. Ideas and creativity are balanced with planning and implementation, while capable people help turn those ideas into something much bigger. That combination — curiosity, creativity and implementation — has remained a recurring theme throughout Andrew’s career. He has continually explored ways to turn knowledge and ideas into practical businesses, products, services and solutions while building teams capable of taking those ideas further.
